okay that sounds pretty dramatic, but basically. i've been studying abroad in spain for the past two months, and it's been doing amazing things for my art, and while i know i am good at stylized/beautiful anime people, it feels more and more fake as time passes. and i'm realizing that my hand is guiding me towards some other kind of art.
i have a lot of things to post when i get back into the states (two weeks!!!), but for now, here's a video explaining this further - there's a few little snippets of what i've been making in the video, too.

next week i'm flying out to london to spend a week there with my best friend, and the following week i'll be in Spain for three months for an art related study abroad trip.

guys, i'm finishing up the last of this current batch of commissions - if you're interested in getting something from me, be it a character drawing, an icon, or a 3x4ft painting (i DO PLENTY OF THOSE LOL) shoot a message to maffypop@gmail.com :) i have from now until mid-september to make whatever it is you guys want.
i charge ~$10-15 per hour and work with your budget (seriously, if you have a $5 budget i'll give you a half-hour sketch, haha.) and i'm cool with mailing stuff to ya as long as you chip in for shipping costs!!
