Lost And Found

Hi everyone!

This is the high-def version of a drawing I posted on my facebook page a while ago (though on there, it's a yellow looking cellphone picture).

The story goes like this: I was feeling really bogged down and stressed out on AP hell week (and for those of you who don't know, that's the week before AP exams when everyone is cramming and feeling stressed). I actually had an emotional breakdown OTL""

Anyway, what I usually do when I'm upset is draw really creepy/macabre/sad images, which contrasts with the cheery style my drawings usually take. But this time I decided to mesh creepiness with beauty - sort of my way of saying "I feel like poop, but this is for the best, so I'll make the best out of this situation." And this drawing was born.

I sketched it with greyscale markers because sketching with markers makes you let go of your insecurities, in a way. You can't fret about perfecting the image and erasing every last out-of-place scribble. In a way, that's nice. I think it allows you to forget about technicalities and really free your mind.

Anyway, apologies for the lengthy description. I like to talk about me in the hopes that others learn from me.
